If you have insurance, I don’t know if you will qualify for SSI. There is a limit on income for parents to qualify according to salary. If you’re on medicaid you may qualify depending on your income. You should check with an SSI attorney. Our state has "legal aid" who will do the research at no cost. These attorneys work for a state organization for low income parents. Good luck.
