Fiona - How much Cortef are you on? This morning I actually took  15 mgs and of course some of the dex was still in my system and I felt like a zombie.... at lunch time I felt better though I didn’t make it until 3 for the next dose - by 2 I was feeling low on cortisol so took 10 mg - then tonight by 8 I was feeling low and took another 10 - right now I’m feeling rather disoriented, and not myself - maybe I’m going through withdrawl from the Dex? I just wish I could figure this thing out without taking weeks of trial and error. I’m a teacher and this was our first day with kids today.... I didn’t feel nearly as alert as I would like to be - and it felt awful. So actually it isn’t lasting 8 hours in my system - what do I do about that? During the night tonight I am going to run out of cortef in my system - before time for the next dose at 7.  I’m not sure how to calibrate it so that I have enough in my system at all times.
