aimeeHi Anne,
We really have to do lunch because I can walk to Ramblewood Middle and have many times on the way to CS Mall. I went to the movies at the old mall also many times and it’s wild that you are that close.
We have the supplies for the hurricane and I have enough Hydrocortisone to last me for a long time. I was just at Walgreens getting it refilled at 8:30 last night and it would have been just like me to run out of Hydro during a Hurricane. I am such a flake: )
I feel pretty confident about all this : 0 sorta! We have our water too! The Evian and it wont go to waste and we have extra dry caned goods, flash lights and candles. I got lucky with the gas because on my way to work, I kept passing stations that had lines of cars waiting and was lucky to pull right into a Shell off Oakland Park & State Road Seven with only one car in front of me. It pays to have patience to look for the right gas station. I’m going to miss my little car if the Hurricane blows it away : ( It’s such a cute little ride with the tinted windows, I already said Goodbye to it. Hope for the best but expect the worst. I went through Hurricane Andrew and even though we were up in Broward with no Damage it still was scary. They really don’t know where this Hurricane is going and it’s like Ft. Lauderdale up to Jupiter and even if we don’t get a direct hit because the storm is so large that there is going to be a large field of damage. Ok, there is a large Iguana walking through my back yard, he took of and went up a tree. Cool, I love Florida. I just hope that Hurricane Frances leaves The ELBOW ROOM at AIA/Las Olas alone.
If they say go to a shelter, we will be there but we live out where the shelters are so that is good and my home is cement which is better than "plywood" that some homes are built with.
gone swimming,
Aimee
