Sheila - Thanks so much for your post. I know I’m eventually going to have to take the Cortef - and yes I had heard Dex is 40 times stronger - but then I heard it is actually closer to 80 times stronger - heck  - I don’t know!. Well if it is 40 times stronger then I would only need to take around 20 mg of Cortef a day or so. Maybe that’s why I felt so crappy? The dose was way too high. What do you take per day and how much at each time? What is your weight and height? I really appreciate your post because as we all know - meeting another person in the real world with CAH just doesn’t happen - or at least it hasn’t for me.
