why do cah kids need ssi if the parents have insurance through the companies they work for?? i mean NO disrespect at all here. please don’t misunderstand. my child’s cortef and florinef are available as generic drugs and not terribly expensive.  insurance covers it. then the doctors visits and labs are typically just 4 times per year. that is a co-pay and labs. are these kids sicker than i have just described or are the parents self insured and therefore, cant get insurance for their child b/c of "pre-existing condition?" just curious.....
