I ask this question in hopes of keeping my 7 year old daughter that has SWCAH as healthy as possible this year. And I could use the boost myself. Does anyone have their children drink that green tea as a antioxodant? Or does anyone have some regiment that they keep with their families to keep healthy? My first option is to place my daughter in a plastic bubble for the cold and flu season. But I can’t find a bubble large enough. (ha ha ha) She has poor eating habits. Something she developed as an infant. Would only eat jars of carrots, broccoli rice and cheese, and cheese as an infant. Anything else she gagged on until she puked. We tried EVERY different food in the world then. Then as a toddler she only ate chicken nuggets and cheese, and french fries with loads of ketchup. I add ketchup because she ate so much of it I included it in her food group. I know eating the right foods can help boost the immune system. We take all the necessary precautions to avoid all communicable diseases. We are constantly washing our hands, using hand cleaner gel, ect. Life happens and we get sick. She was only in school for two short days when she got a small fever with a mild cold. No biggie but frustrated we didn’t make it a full week!!! EVERYONE says they all get sick the first few months of school. That is the adults and children. So I know it is inevitible. And that is ok because I know that the more viruses she encounters the better she builds her immune system up. BUT I would still like to see if I can help her immune system to work at it’s highest potential. Any suggestions? Any certain vitamins anyone uses? Any supplements? Thanks!Laura
