the downside of green tea

Laura,
I know EXACTLY what you mean!  I have had some yucky chest cold for almost a week.  I am PRAYING that the kids don’t get it.  Keep in mind that green tea is not only a diuretic but it can cause diarrhea. In fact we give it to the kids when they’re constipated.  I would be careful on that one but maybe there is a vitamin supplement that doesn’t have those effects.  I’m with you on the plastic bubble idea but to be honest with you, it’s not working- my cop husband who doesn’t want us to leave the house because nothing is safe and me freaking out because of germs.  I think we’re going to have some serious therapy bills.  :)   I try- operative word being try- to feed them a healthy diet with lots of fruits and veggies.  We all wash our hands as if we had OCD.  We also drink Immunity defense orange juice which has added vitamins and minerals.  They also take a multi-vitamin.  I’m not sure if that is working for us but it makes me feel a bit better.  I wish there was a magic solution to this but I don’t think there is.  I would like to hear any suggestions anyone has!  :)
I’m sure this hasn’t been as helpful as you would have liked but I really wanted you to know about the downside of green tea.
Hope you have all been well!  I’ll talk to you soon!
