LauraOk they are REALLY cloned! I had my daughter’s adenoids removed last November!!!! I never knew that the gagging could be related. She too would get a sinus infection EVERY cold. We also found out she had allergies, then mild asthma. I have posted here before about that. I can’t remember what date. What really put us over the edge was her snoring!!!! Such a little kid with such a horrendous snore! It would wake her up in the middle of the night because it was as if someone literally pinched her nose off. They Xrayed and found enlarged adenoids. So we had them removed. Knock on the hardest wood ever, she has been sinus infection free since. And no snoring.
Now the food pickiness continues. She no longer gags but refuses to try new things. It is a serious issue we have had with her. She has never touched a red meat which is fine with me but still she needs to supplement for the iron, and protein she misses. She won’t even try macoroni and cheese!!!! Some say it is a power struggle. Whatever the case is we have to get through this. Tectures are huge with her. No puddings or noodles. She used to gag to watch me eat any of them. So strange. I am at my wits end and am on the brink of taking her to a dietery clinic of some sorts to find out what we can do. How about you? This is the first year she takes a lunch. It KILLS her to eat a peanut butter sandwich. (NO JELLY) I swear she gags it down. But it is our first step I think in the right direction. She also eats for lunch those snackable pickles, and some salty chips sometimes. She promised her ped. that she would try something new every week. So far it has been whimpy things. She literally crys if we push too hard. Something she rarely does. Crying is not her gig. She could get hurt and fight back the tears. Give her something new to try and she falls apart. I just know.
