Ugh. Well I do believe that there is not a toddler in this world that actually eats. I do believe they live on air alone in the toddler ages. I can remember my best friend’s daughter. Ugh. The kid never ate. Today she has made up for that time! But I know what you are talking about with those picky eaters. My daughter too lived on milk and continues to do so today. LOVES milk. We too have tried the calm approach, then the tough love approach. We have found that she tries things out of the blue. Like odd things. She tried a hot pepper. She loves to dip her fries in vanilla ice cream. But God forbid she try macoroni and cheese. And it is all her idea. Didn’t you say this was your son’s daughter? And her mom passed away? Was your son a picky eater? I know my brother in law was. He didn’t eat anything except peanut butter and jelly for the first 5 years of his life. NO LIE. He is still a picky eater to this day at 35 years old. I cringe to think she will continue this. UGH! If you get any pointers let me know. My daughter did try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich the other day. It was as if I was asking her to jump off a cliff. She did it with no tears but my gosh, it was so hard for her. I was amazed. She only like the peanut butter sandwich and that she gags down. UGH!Laura
