My cousin in Palm Bay spent 15 hrs just in her closet.  Her house had been boarded up since Thursday, but when it got really bad she retreated to her closet.   "never again", she says.  If Ivan comes that way, she’s leaving.  She knew Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel was reporting LIVE from Palm Bay..and when I told her that the airport had officially registered a 124 mph wind gust, she said, "and I can tell you EXACTLY when that was".  She was terrified...esp when the east wall of the eye went through yesterday morning.
