hi sally! i just wanted to let you know that i am a stay at home mom (for the most part -  i work one day a week in the icu as a registered nurse) with 3 kids. my 8 month old son has swcah. in NO way do i think you are a bad mom for wanting to go back to work. my mom watches my kids the one day i do work, but if i just had one child (with or without cah), i would probably work more. day care for 3 is too high for what i make. i think a 20 minute distance with people you trust is fine. just my opinion. best of luck!!
