Debbie was your son diagnosed as a salt loser just after birth?  I thought the same thing, I have read that the fludrocortisone dose can be decreased after puberty, yet I know of some boys who have needed more. If your son is not salt loser as such I could understand it.  What dose of hydrocortisone is your son on? Pred and dex do not have mineralocorticoid properties. Has he noticed any changes’ like passing urine more often?
