my endo told me right after my son was diagnosed that a father of one of his patients stopped the florinef (against dr.s wishes) and was doing ok. he is a salt-waster too! maybe as adults with the sodium in their diets, it is possible. one thing, if it is causing his BP to be too high, i would assume he is on too much. maybe it could just be decreased??
