I leave, and have left my CAHer’s, with teenagers, as young as 12 years old.  Some are good some are not so good.  I have boys and girls baby sit.  I have never had a problem.  We always have a cell phone with us and just say give us a call if you have any problems.  They always give their meds,  I do ask when we get home.

I do not feel like my kids are any different than any other kids as far as baby sitters go.  Even when my kids were babies, I used a 13 year old baby sitter.
