I saw your post and that you have a son 16 with SWCAH. I have a little boy that is 8 with SWCAH (Michael). I was wondering if your son had problems with weight gain or if he plays sports and goes to public school? My son has has considerable weight gain when they increased his cortef too much last year. And he complains of chest pain when he runs hard or is very active. My son is also sick a lot during the school year and misses a lot of school. I was also wondering if this disorder affects young boys when they go through puberty? Any information you are willing to share would be much appreicated. You can email me if you would like. My son has also complained of headaches a lot more than he use to. I guess I was just thinking where your son is older he is able to tell you more of how he feels or what he goes through, where my son is still young and not always able to express how is feeling.
