What I would do is to make sure you know how to contact your ped endo (or the one on call). Our ped endo is associated with a children’s hospital clinic that has 4 ped endos -- and there is always someone on call. If on the off chance you do need to take your daughter to the hospital you can contact your doctor and have him/her call the hospital you are going to. Also make sure you have your emergency letter, signed by your doctor, explaining how to treat your daughter. Everything should be fine.
