hi karen! thanks for your response. my son(swcah) has been doing great with his cah, but a little too great! he is on a VERY low cortef dose, but still is gaining weight, not growing taller and  has low 17ohps, like he is oversupressed.  it made everyone wonder if there is a thyroid problem and he is metabolizing the cortef very slowly. his tsh was slighty elevated, but his t4 was fine. they just want to repeat labs in 6 weeks at this point. did you get hypothyroidism as an adult or child??  do you now just take synthroid and your cah is controlled ok?? thanks in advance!
