we have been on the liquid hydrocortisone, it was being compounded locally at a pharmacy. in my opinion, i would switch to the pill. i have never heard it is in short supply. it is inexpensive and has been around forever. i have sought 2 second opinions, one at vanderbilt and one at the nat’l institute of health. they both felt like the liquid was too unstable and we no longer use it. others might and their cah children do just fine. however, i am not comfortable with it. we were getting inconsistent labs quite frequently. feel free to email me if you have any questions.
