My daughter who is 14 months was on the compounded hydrocortisone for about 8 months until labs kept coming back too high. We switched to Cortef tabs....have never had a problem obtaining it. We use Walgreens. She also has simple virilizing and takes 7.5 mg a day.

 We did have to use a compounding pharmacy with the liquid. My suggestion is too call your local pharmacy and see if they have the tabs in stock or will they order it for you.

What state are you in? We are in Texas and have never heard of shortage. Feel free to email with any questions!
