RICARDO AZZIZ, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr. Azzizis the Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Azziz has also completed a Masters in Public Health (MPH) and Master in Business Administration (MBA).
Dr. Azziz is a former Chair of the Advisory Committee on Reproductive Health Drugs, of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; and a member of the Reproductive Endocrinology Study Section of the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Azziz has published over 200 original articles, book chapters, and reviews. Dr. Azziz’s research include the study of the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), the non-classic adrenal hyperlasia (NCAH); the role of the adrenal in hyperandrogenic disorders; the genetics of hyperandrogenic disorders including PCOS and NCAH; the treatment of hirsutism; the regulation and physiology of adrenal androgens; and credentialing and cost-effectiveness of operative endoscopy for pelvic reconstruction.
