 Hi Janelle,

I understand you are making a binder for  your cah child. Great! I take mine every place we go and  if we leave her overnight at my daughters house......or with ANY sitter. I have copies of birth certificates, social security card, shot records, birth certificate. List of emergency DRS. and hospital and emergency ambulance numbers. Copies of her prescriptions of her doses of meds...... also a photo of her and I went to the degree of making a list of food likes and dislikes. Certain mannerisms she will portray (tantrums ect.) when she needs rest or to eat. I also made a letter of our discipline protocal for anyone watching her. (time out, corner . privelage loss) NO ONE is to hit my child for ANY reason! Another page describes her sleeping patterns in general (nap times and what she likes to sleep with) This binder goes everywhere my child goes! My/ her pediatric Doctor thought it was a great idea and recommended putting in some  notarized emergency forms for family and friends and relatives (other Grandparents) This binder is like the family bible as it is one of the most cherished books in the house(other than the FAMILY BIBLE) This binder contains some valuable info on her and about her so we monitor who ses it and who does not!

 Good luck on your binder!

PS. I also keep one in our safety deposit box in case one should get misplaced. I am in the process of making one for her to keep at school. Cherry
