I have LOCAH and diabetes. My experience with prednisone was not good. My endocrinologist didn’t think I would fare any better with the Dex. It wreaked havoc with my blood sugars. My A1c was over 11 and I had to increase my insulin. I stopped taking the Prednisone, because the Dr. felt the diabetes was more of a threat than the LOCAH.
