My almost 17-mo.-old son has broken the corner off of his front tooth.  I’m taking his to the dentist in a few hours, and wondered how those of you who have dealt w/ dental visits handle them.  Do I need to stress dose before?  What about if they need to give him gas to do the exam?  I know he’ll need stress dosing if they need to give him general anesthesia to repair the problem (I’m not even sure they will, since it is just the corner and is a baby tooth), but I’m not sure about if he needs it with just a local or gas.

I have a call in to the Endo’s nurse, I just wanted to ask here too.
