SandraHi Everyone,
I haven’t posted for help in quite a while but I’m wondering what to do with my latest problem. I hate blaming things on CAH but I’m concerned that my 3 yr old son is constantly complaining of a stomach ache. He has been complaining of one for over a month, maybe longer. I took him to the doctor one time and the ped looked at him and said maybe it’s just a viral. Now sometimes Jackson will say his tummy hurts and then 2 seconds later is distracted by his brothers or a new toy or even a snack. Other times, he will grab his stomach and really complain.
I’m afraid that it may be his cortef. He complains though at times when he hasn’t just taken it or hours after he has taken it. I would hate for him to have to take more meds. I’m just not sure what to do. I mean really how much can the ped do if he complains of a tummy ache.
There may be a stomach bug going around too. My little one, also CAH, has diarreah for a few days and just today is starting to not want to eat too much. He doesn’t have a fever and other than that he is happy and wants to play. I anticipate a trip to the doctor for him soon.
Jackson’s is bothering me though because it’s been a long time. Anyone been through this?
Thanks,
Sandra
