RebeccaMYou would think so! But I suppose they probably feel it is cheaper to first test the top 10 because the chances of it being one of those is great and then you only have to go the truly expensive route fewer times than if you just sequenced the whole thing every time.
Nope, I didn’t have to pay for either test. It was done through NIH because Dr. Merke was able to do it since she was training someone and could also add our daughters info to her studies.
