I have two cats and a brown dog.  I’ve always had two cats keeping me company and have gone through the loss of previous pals.  Brown dog has been with me for a million years and I know the day will come soon where she won’t be anymore. 

I am so saddened to hear that Lion was lost possibly due to negligence of a widely used product. 

Grief over loss that we feel is no different than any other type of stress, and in fact I would hedge that it may even be worse.  Thankfully you saw that with Chelsea before it became an emergency.  When my mom died, I ended up giving myself a shot that evening when I knew I was crashing.  My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your pal.
