I have a fourteen year old son who is always hungry.  When he was younger he was overweight and I constantly had to monitor his eating and help him control it.  It was very difficult.  Whne he reached 11 he became very interested in baseball and the baseball coach told him him needed to lose some weight.  He started running and watching what he ate.  BUT it was very difficult for him.  He has an older brother (who doesn’t have CAH) who eats everything in sight and never gains a pound (he is 6’3")  When my son does not exercise or exercise restraint over his eating habits he immediatley begins to gain wieght again.  He is a little bit overweight right now and I know this is aproblem he will battle all o f his life.  The Cortef just gives him and incredible appetite.
