I read about circadian dosing (not sure I am spelling it corrrectly) in a newsletter sent to me by the Texas CAH group. Basically what it said (and this will be in very layman terms) was that children grow more at certain times of the day so if you can arrange to give them their medicine in conjunction with these growth periods they have more chance of growing and also not exhibiting the cushionoid features of children with CAH. Unfortunately this means giving them a dose at 3 a.m. and my endo says they don’t suggest this to parents because they fee like most willnot be interested in waking up every night to give medicine. We did it for 2 months but I think we started too late. I stillhave article about this and I am going to get it out of my file and reread it and send you more info. In this article, a parent writes about having tried it and feeling like it was success for her child. Wil l send more laterKaren
