Shelly,
My kindergarten daughter has worn her MedicAlert since she was diagnosed at 15-months. It has been removed 3 times -- twice for cystoscopies and once to add links. It says
Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia -- Steroid Dependent
At this point I would not give my daughter a necklace for fear that she would take it off. Also, she is allowed to wear the bracelet in PE class. I would not want her to wear a necklace in PE for fear that she would get hurt. I don’t know what the school’s position is on the necklace.
