My two month old has a medic alert bracelet which we pin to the car seat. It says "Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, treat with stress dose steroids". My understanding is that it is best to ask for generic stress dose steroids rather than Hydrocortisone specifically, since a lot of ambulances do not carry Hydrocortisone and you want them to have some sort of steroids as soon as possible I believe. The contacts for partents and doctors should also be listed in the MedAlert file (which will be accessed in the event of an emergency). Going over the contents of your MedAlert file with your endocrinologist is a good idea, of course!
