Hi,

I am 31 and I have lived with CAH during my entire life, all was well, I am taking prednisolone and Fludrocortisone.  I recently did a blood test and it revealed that I have a very high level of delta 4 and Testoterone.  Now I have to go for a battery of tests and the doctors need to scan my adrenal glands to make sure they are not too large. The doctor said if they are too large they will need to operate and remove my adrenal glands.  IS THAT TRUE and he also said that it was strange that I am on prednisolone and Fludrocortisone as they normally operate on the adrenal gland with CAH.

I really need some advice and I need a doctor to explain why my delta 4 and Testoterone may be so elavated and what i should do.
