My daughter (now 9 1/2 months old) was on the 7am, 3pm, 11pm schedule at first when she was taking salt supplements, cortef & florinef. She nursed at 11 pm, so I didn’t have to wake her, I do now & she doesn’t wake up really... I crush her meds up & put in a little water, draw it up in a syringe & she sucks it down no problem.
Good luck with all the info you get, take your time digest all of it & come her & ask all the questions you want that’s why we are all here.
P.S. with the flu season coming soon, have your endo give you the solu-cortef injectable, and teach you how to give a shot, & when it would be necessary. I don’t want to scare you, but all of our CAH kids need to have this medication available to them, and some people are not aware of it until they come to this board....I have not had to give it but it is nice to know I know how & when if needed
