re: re: Lab Results-Increasing Cortef-Have Concerns

Thanks so much for responding.  I would love to have the info you have. Our endo is definitely NOT an advocate of Circadian Dosing, but he has "given me the permission" to do it.  I think we are the only ones in his practice that are on it.  His biggest concern was compliance with the 3am dosing.  Which, when we started this 2-1/2 years ago, we had a new (unaffected-whew!!) baby, so we were already getting up; so it was worth it to us to give it a try to see if it would work for us.  And boy did we see a dramatic improvement with Connor’s growth and his puffy face.  The puffiness disappeared almost immediately.   We have done well with the circadian dosing, and I would really like to continue with it.  I have seen such improvement on Connor’s labs, until now that is.  But hey, he is a growing boy, so we have actually been anticipating this increase.  He has been on 7.5mgs for 3 years.  He’s never been on a dose higher than that.  So would you suggest maybe 2.5mgs @ 7am, 1.25mgs @ 12pm, 1.25mgs @ 5:30, 5mgs @ 3am, OR maybe 2.5mgs @ 7am, 2.5mgs @ 12pm, 1.25mgs @ 5:30, 3.75mgs @ 3am would be better?  Or should the lunchtime dose be larger or smaller than the evening dose?  We are willing to do whatever it takes to not only give Connor the best shot at reaching his height potential of 6 feet but also keep him as healthy as possible.  Thanks again!!  This board is such a God send!!!
