Laura,

I know how much your poor baby has struggled with this problem.  I never thought gravel might be the problem but it makes sense.  You know how much I have SUFFERED with kidney stones over the last 2 years. The girls’s endo warned me last year that they are at an increased risk for kidney stones, not just because of me, but because the calcium the cortef takes out of the bones and if they started having any pain that I thought was a kidney stone to get them to the ER right away.  I have so much I want to tell you here but it will have to wait until Monday.  I’m going out of town as soon as I can get the girls to gather up their pillows, get their water and go pee.  Just make sure that Julia drinks plenty of water.  WATER- not so much juices or milk but water.  If she is not a big fan of water, give her "juice cocktail" (half water/half juice).  And if you think she is having any kind of kidney stone problem, do not give her cranberry juice.  While this is good for UTI’s it is not good for kidney stones.

I’ll write soon!

Love,

Tonia
