We had my daughters follow up appointment today. Her urologist was sick, and why they didn’t call me to reschedule I do not know. However, the doctor that saw her probably is still wishing they had. He wanted to take pictures of her. I went through the roof! I don’t think this man has ever had a patient or patients mother in this case tell him no. He also started to talk down to me like I flunked kindergarten. THat then got me going again. I do not understand how in the world someone gets through life talking to people like this man did to me, what a #@$*&!!!! I told him that wearing scrubs & a name badge with initials after your name does not impress me nor does it make you right, so get over it it’s not going to happen. Hell I wear scrubs too & I have the MOST important word after my name...MOM
I complained BIG time to our carrier! I saw her regular doctor’s nurse in the hallway & took her in a room to express my displeasure. She then informs me that this doctor is always a jerk. So that makes it OK? Nope, not with me.
I hate this because I LOVE being a nurse, I love my career choice & I hate it when I see others who make medical people look like heartless jerks. Why in the world did thid idiot go into medicine if he has no compassion for the people he sees.....ughhhhhhh. OK, I feel better..just thought I would let you all know if you hear rumors about some crazed women in california...it was probably me chewing out the idiot!
