hi, wondering what type of blood tests are done to find CAH?  My son’s ped endo has been ordering mainly testosterone, LH and FSH because he started puberty at age 6 and is now 9. I aksed him about CAH and he said it would have likely come up on the blood work we have done, but would it??  We did do a lot of blood work for metabolic disorders when he was 5, would this show CAH??  Also, we will be getting an MRI soon, would this be helpful? thanks for info!!  the most recent blood work showed his testosterone and LH are not very high, but his bones on the bone age xray said like an 11- 11 1/2 yr old, when he just turned 9.  thanks for info. 

by the way, I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome myself, and have always had acne and broad shoulders, increased hair on skin, at one point my periods stopped!  I read some info about CAH and it mentioned all of those things...which all can be part of PCOS though.
