re: organic foods and kids with cah

Louise,

I believe organic food does do good for our children in long run.  I do not want to add "extra" hormone to my dear daughter who has CAH. I try to give her organic food whenever it is possible. There is a fancy groceries about 20 minutes drive from my place. It sells all organice food. It is quite expensive. Vegetable is about 3-4 times price vs. conventional food. Chicken is $9/pound. I am not very crazy about organic vegetable & fruit. But I believe organic meat makes difference.  I think hormone used in chicken and cow contributes to the earlier puberty and weight problem in the general population.
