Your son started puberty at 6 and hasn’t been given Lupron yet?  Do you know what Tanner stage he’s at now?

I think the test they use for CAH is 17-ohp.  They should do a preliminary blood test, and if his values are high, do a one-hour stimulation test.   They should have done this when he was 6.   Did the puberty start with pubic hair, acne  and body odor for a while before he got other signs of puberty like his genitals getting bigger?

You both might be CAH carriers, or have CAH.  My son started getting a little acne and pubic fuzz and body odor at 7 and he’s a carrier.  He’s going to be 10 and hasn’t progressed into true puberty (testes getting larger) yet although he’s gotten hairier lately.  He also has had bone age advancement - 11 - 11 1/2 at 9 1/2.
