She found out a few days ago that she is indeed a carrier like her brother and I. But her deadbeat ex won’t go and get himself tested. The genetic counselor tells her she really wants him to get tested but there is NO way he will go and do it. I’m just wondering what kinds of testing they will do without knowing if the father is a carrier. (Shes about 2 months along) I wish there was something we could do to get him to do the test. A simple blood test, and he won’t do it. You’d think him being 18 and already a father to a now 4 month old (with another girl) he would take some responisibility.
