Yes, he did get physical signs first like you mentioned but no body odor and then the genitals didn’t start getting bigger till he was about 8  1/2 I think.  When he was 7 his bone age was about a year ahead and now it is 1-1 1/2 yrs ahead and he is 9.  I am getting worried we are waiting too long to do the lupron shots!  the doc said without elevated testosterone and LH above a certain level that we’d not need the shots.  Do you know are the shots more painful than typical or are they basically a normal shot?  I usually use an cream like Emla for blood work, hope this would work for the shots!  thanks for info.
