Actually my supply won’t catch up.  I know that to be the case based on pumping, taking galactagogues, and nursing around the clock while consulting lactation consultants.  I even had a prescription for Reglan with my 2nd child.  The best explanation they have is that I have a hormonal imbalance that impedes my milk production.  So I’m not giving up on breastfeeding but I *do* know that I underproduce (as evidenced by my first child weighing 9 lbs at 4 months...).  I just wanted to know if this particular LEVEL of underproduction (which seemed to speed up) was due to the Cortef, stress, or something else.
