If he’s a carrier he would probably have a level which is higher than normal but lower than someone with two CAH genes.  My son is a carrier, and at first I couldn’t get him treated, but I was persistent and found a doctor who was willing to break with protocol, and he is doing better.  He’s taking a low dose of cortef, his bone age stopped advancing and he hasn’t gained weight or stopped growing.
