re: Will I ever get pregnant?

Dolly,

I just read your post on the board.  I have 2 little girls with ssw cah.  I don’t know that I have specific insight to your situation so for that I do apologize.  But, my best friend of 12 years is pregnant and due in December.  She is 29 years old and as long as I have known her has struggled with ovarian cysts and very irregular periods.  She has never been diagnosed with CAH but was diagnosed with PCOS- makes me wonder now.  She has been told by her doctors that her and her husband would never conceive.  So they finally just gave up on the idea of being parents.  She hadn’t had a period since January which was not abnormal for her.  She had a dream that she was pregnant.  So she took a test and found out she was!  My sister’s sister in law is also pregnant and due in November after many many frustrating and heartbreaking years of not being able to conceive (neither have been diagnosed with anything).   The point of all of this is that there is hope there for you and your husband.  I have never been where you are but what has your doctor said?   Focus on the 2 wonderful children you have and don’t put so much pressure on getting pregnant.  I wish you the most blessings!  Best wishes to you!
