Thanks for your input.  It began working yesterday... and how!  4 BM’s yesterday and 1 this morning.  Guess his body’s purging all the waste it couldn’t get rid of before.  Now I’ll just have to keep an eye on him to make sure it doesn’t go the other way.  But for now, he finally seems comfortable, thank goodness.
