Out son had one last year at 8 months old, and again this year.  My husband and I usually do too, although we will count ourselves very lucky if we’re able to get them this year.  Unless you have some specific health issue that would make you more likely to have a bad reaction (allergies to eggs is one of the cautions they gave us), I would imagine that you would be just fine.
