>I would also refer to him as MR. instead of doctor

Oh, my...that made me laugh!  This is one of those times where I can see myself wanting to all but hound this doctor for the rest of his professional career...I would fantasize about sending, via registered mail, every CAH article, website, report, research, reprint, interview, conference notes, study, etc., that I ever came across to him......for the next twenty years....to the point where he would reconsider his choice of "doctoring" and take up basketweaving....in another country.

I would never do it, of course...but I’d sure get an inward chuckle thinking about this poor sod...receiving mail for the next 20 years showing him what a doofus he is.   What gall, what arrogance.  You know, we’ve had our ER frustrations, as well.....but never that bad.   We’ve actually been blessed with a wonderful ped endo; and we’ve met staff at two hospitals who, even though they might not know the intricate ins/outs about CAH, are, for the most part,  actually interested in learning what it’s all about....from a *gasp* parent!

A doctor certainly can’t be faulted for not knowing everything.....but to belittle the mother’s attempt at trying to explain and be so condescending is unacceptable.

(OK...done ranting.....and good job, Corri!!!!)
