Well everyone, it is a girl! As far as the ultrasound shows, there is no ambiguity (sp?) to her genitals. They did a normal ultrasound and then one of those 3-D looking ones that you can literally see what the baby looks like. She sounds like her aunt. Stubborn. She kept turning around when they want to look at her. The geneologist said that her odds were pretty slim to have received this gene, but suggested she get tested after the baby is born for future reference. I am yet to hear all the detail of what the doc. told her at this appointment. I want details. I am still not sighing any relief until I see test results from her newborn screening. I can’t help it. I want to be 100% before I break out the champagne. That won’t be until March. I am relieved to know the genitals look uneffected. But I want more proof. My nightmare of my own daughter’s birth still haunts me. The nightmare where I actually trusted a doctor that nothing was wrong with my daughter and almost killed her. Nope.
