Recently our ped suggested that we have our son see a ped endo to follow up on his excessive growth over the past year. Our son has for the most part been on the bigger side and his screening test was neg for CAH after birth. However, he is in the 98 % for height and over a 100% for weight. He is 31 months old but has the bone age of a 4-4.5 y/o via x ray. His penis is on the bigger side, has no pubic hair, no sig discolorization, no body odor, possibly has some pigment to his skin compared to his sister. He eats very well, drinks regularly. He has no acne or excessive sweating. Can kids have a neg CAH screening and turn out positive over two years later. Probably yes. Or could he just be big for his age? We are waiting for the blood test results to confirm. We are concerned. Is he too young for these changes, can you have only one or two and still have CAH?Mark
