Kay, Hi, this is all new to me and I may be reading more into it than there really is to read.  I only know what I was told and it seems to fit my experiences as well as my husband and daughter.   I remember one of the MD’s saying that I make half of what a "normal" person would make and that should still be enough to get me through the stresses of the day.  He never really knew my life and the stresses there of.

I am hoping that this study with Dr. Rasmisson will lead to bigger and better things.  Our problems are that the rareness of the disorder doesn’t  attract a lot of attention so even she had to make a sub-section in order to study this for the ACTH test.

If we are lucky, we might stumble on to something that will help us to continue  research on this and perhaps find a better treatment for our CAH children.

When I speak with my OBGYN the next time I will ask him if he can recall where the lesson was that taught about this.
