Not that this necessarily would be the case with any of you, but my daughter is now 16.  About 4 years ago she was diagnosed with acid reflux disease (as well as the CAH and other things that have occurred over the years).  She was gassy as a baby, was diagnosed at 3 with CAH and for years used to tell me her tummy hurt and she thought she "thought she was going to throw up, but didn’t" to which I always replied that I was glad she hadn’t and to be sure to tell me right away if she did.  Little did I know that she was having problems with reflux all along.  I was just glad she did not throw up and go into an adrenal crisis.  I am just telling you all this because I don’t know if the years of Cortef have made this worse or not, but she currently takes Acifex for the reflux problem - and chews lots of gum after meals.
